When picking parts for this build, I didn't put too much thought into it except getting the best I could with the decent budget I had (lonely mid-20s man checking in). Unfortunately that lead to me getting an array of different pieces from different brands. Although all great, the PC isn't as aesthetically pleasing or as consistent as I would like. I was also updating quickly and impulsively, learning about different brands and parts as I went. Ultimately I am beyond pleased with my build, and will continue to sprinkle in upgrades as I go.
Extra information: Purchased a pre-built back in February of 2018. Within the year I had replaced every single aspect of the PC with what you see here in my picture. It's not much, but I think I did pretty good for my first "build". It was a learning experience, and I personally find that to be what is most important.
