The 200x400mm radiator compared to a regulat 240. Big boy
Big boy radiator mounted in the (heavily modified) H500P
Same, just from the front
Push+pull. The fans were replaced with RGB ones later.
Front view. Notice the 140mm fans for increased static pressure.
Prepping the GPU
Testing out the pump placement.
CLoseup of the reservoir mounting
Test-fitting all the parts before running the tubing
Tubing runs taking shape...
... and pretty much finished.
All set and done

H500P radiator monster
Just because you can doesn't mean you should!
Build time:
Very early 2018.
History behind the build:
When i first saw the H500P i had one idea. 200x400mm radiators! Then Cooler master said it wouldn't fit. Well screw cooler master, i just took it as a Challenge. So i MADE a 200x400mm radiator fit. This is the result. It replaced my earlier Amber drop V2", but i'd argue it represents a significant downgrade in visual quality. All it does better is having more/bigger radiators.
What kind of custom work went into it:
The case was extensively modified to make room for the radiator obviously. Beyond that i also messed up the PSU shroud to adapt it for the radiator. Quite invasive modifications if you ask me. The components are (obviously) watercooled, and the CPU got delidded.
What i'd like to improve if it were today:
EVERYTHING! The idea of fitting a 200x400mm radiator in that case is inherently flawed from what i can tell. And if you can't fit that rad, why even bother with that case? So quite simply i wouldn't build it again! And that's before considering the attrocious work on the PSU shroud and the reservoir mounting!
The build was replaced by a Lian Li O11D build titled Project Golden ice late in the third quarter of 2018
