Decided to build a small portable gaming PC since I'm always traveling on the weekends. I wanted to build this machine with some room for improvement down the road. I was able to find most parts used on Reddit forums and have been working great. The biggest issue was the pre-applied thermal paste on the H60. I had purchased the H60 from local best buy store since there was a sale going on. It never crossed my mind that the pre-applied thermal paste could go dry, once I booted the machine it idled at 40-50 degrees which were very strange and under any load would spike to thermal throttle at 100+ degrees. I started to think maybe the case was too compact, or the fan was not strong enough... did some more test until I decided maybe I should buy better thermal paste and reapplied. Once I took off the cooler and saw no thermal on to the IHS I was so relieved since the issue was a quick fix. NEVER TRUST APPLIED THERMAL PASTE
Few things: CPU is OCed to 4.9 GHz all 6 cores running cool. CPU is delidded with a copper IHS.
GPU runs a little hot thinking of adding some slim 120mm fans to help cool the GPU
