Budget/First Build
Some back story on this build.
This build first started as a Lenovo ThinkCentre that had a i5 3570. I bought a GTX 1050, Better power supply (An adapter because of the proprietary port),and a i7 3770 for an actually really good budget build for around only $335. I payed $100 for the Thinkcentre from a school selling their computers, $100 For the GTX 1050 Refurbished, $35 for a EVGA 500W BR Brand New, And a Used i7 3770 for $100 from a friend that was selling his old parts.
It performed well but I was actually a little bottle necked by the 1050 because of the low VRAM. So I bought a RX 580 for $160 And thought I was done, but man was I wrong.
Sadly, the motherboard died. I Still have no clue why but it did. I checked the parts and they all seemed to be fine but found out later that the ram died so I decided to buy a Intel DH77KC motherboard for $60, A Cooler Master MasterBox Pro 5 RGB for $60, A Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO $25, 8gb of Samsung ram for $60, and an SSD from Kingston for $65. I put it all together and it worked great. Overall the i7 still performs very well and I can play any games at 1080p 60FPS. After finding out that it all worked out I bought An LED strip and the RGB Controller from Cooler Master and Purpled it up. So far I am very Proud of this build for it being my first build. Overall It turned out to be around $600 total.
I'm planning on Going full AMD with this build in the future with Ryzen 7 and possibly Vega.
I would love to hear your guy's ideas on what to do next!
