The black chromax covers from Noctua, do indeed make a huge difference in appearance. Unfortunately they are a bit pricey.
The EVGA powerlink is the best way to clean up cables, for 10$, loving it!
Yeah... I still use the optical drive from time to time.
You have no idea, how handy 5.25" bay storage drawers can be for small stuff you use regularly!
Horrible desk, I know... Hopefully I will be able to swap it in the not so distant future.
The Edifier S760D is one mean 5.1 system, miles better than my previous Logitech Z5500
Remote controlled heated footrest, for those cold months, works a treat!
Through the years, about 4 PSUs got killed from crappy utility power delivery, this 1000W dell UPS is fantastic in "cleaning up" fluctuations and plenty powerful when power completely goes out.
Aukey powered USB hub, provides 4 ports 2.4 amps each and one port with Quickcharge 2.0 Awesome charge station, when paired with rollable cables and a wireless charging pad.
The nostalgia shelf, the days when Norton software was actually a thing and I was heavily into flight sims :D

The Monolith
Hey guys :)
Let me present to you, my system which I built around half an year ago, during the period of several months of sourcing parts, so I could complete this PC just the way I wanted and envisioned. The inspiration for it was of course the monolith from the 2001 space odyssey, but with a tad of lighting added to it :)
The build came to be as a result of many hours spent on eBay, snapping deals of hardly used parts in perfect boxed condition, with receipts. Everything you see inside the tower, except the case itself, cooling components and PSU, are an eBay purchase. As a result, I managed to make huge savings from brand new prices, even though the parts are of the highest end consumer tier.
The main focus of this build is to be versatile and perfectly suited for everything I want to do with it (gaming, media consumption, music listening sessions, web browsing and office work) in comfort and pleasant non obtrusive aesthetics. I am happy to report, the objective has been perfectly achieved
Hope you enjoy, the Monolith!

RTX 3080 FE
Finally was able to buy the rarest piece of gaming hardware in 2020, an FE RTX 3080 :)
Card is AWESEOME!
Swapped my PSU to an AX1500i
Unfortunately the 3080 FE cause The AX860 to power cycle the system, so I was able to find a new old stock AX1500i for an insane price and I just went for it. Problem solved, no more power cycles!
Sound Blaster X4 and 980 Pro 1TB
Swapped the ancient but still perfectly working X-Fi Titanium for a new X4. Wired the S760D analog 5.1, instead of toslink.
Also, added some more nvme goodness, a 980 Pro 1TB
Upgraded to 32GB memory
Found a very good deal for some CL14, 3200MHz 2x16GB G.Skill Ripjaws V sticks, so decided to pull the trigger

Swapped G903 for G502 Lightspeed
Decided to give the G502 a spin, so I ended up liking it much more than the G903. Although it's noticeably heavier than the G903, it's so much more comfortable to use.
Bought G903 + PowerPlay
I am vary happy with this purchase, the G903 is truly fantastic and not having to ever charge the mouse because of the Powerplay pad is awesome! As a bonus, the G-Hub software is surprisingly good and customizeable.
New 2TB SSD
Bought a brand new data center grade Intel SSD D3-S4610 1.92 TB for a stupidly low price. Awesome upgrade from the 500GB Evo for the games library drive.
another 2TB SSD + 9900K
Installed another 2TB SSD, a micron ECO 5200 and bought an excellent overclocking 9900K. Z370 platform maxed out
