My new Gpu, after my Old one died (more in Update). Im happy with it, but the Driver sucks.
This is my Main Rig, I build it myself in 2014 and been adding to it ever since. Its a Very reliabel build never had a major issue (except once). There may be many like it out there but this one is mine. She might not be the most powerfull or most beautiful of them.
As I couldn't add the Right Hardware in the specs category here they are:
The case is an Lc Power Fortress_X in white.
Motherboard is a Asus 87-K with an Intel I7-4770K cooled by an AlpenFohn Broken 2 (now in White),
pared with 16gb (2x4gb) HyperX Genissis 1600Mhz
the GPU is a Saphire Nitro+ RX590 SE.
it has a Toshiba Q300 as a Boot SSD (240gb)
and a Toshiba X300 4tb Hard drive and a 500gb WD Green for backup purposes.
As Acessories my setup includes a Roccat iskuFX (wired) keyboard and a Roccat Kone EMP mouse.
Two Acer (1080p) Displays.
And little addons aswell like a Wacom intus Draw tablet, Samson desk microphone ,Xbox Kinect one and 360 and Controller as well as HyperX Cloud II Headset.
Just Yesterday order 2x 8gb ram of the same kind I already have doubling my ram and running it in quad instead of dual channel now. The ram I ordered is the same kind I had in my Rig already being the Hyperx Genesis DDR3 1600mhz 4gb modules (2x).
Update. 23.04.2021 i found out what i bought wasnt 1600mhz but 1333mhz. wich then the bios automaticly forced to run at 1600mhz. oops.
so i went nearly 3 years wiht out noticing.
Hard drive Failure!
So disaster struck. My main hard drive failed or showed singes of failure. The drive in Question began slowing down over the last two weeks and now on Easter decided to fully slow down. I noticed luckily as there is 90% on that drive. The drive in question is a Segate Barracuda 2tb it now lived 5 years and it will be replaced by a 4tb Toshiba X300. so hopefully on the next week, I get everything back on track. this has been only the second major error after last years PSU broke. Ofc I Backed up on the regular on some older other drives but this just shows how important backups are. I hope everyone reading who not at least have one backup will now start with one. i can highly recommend Freesync for it.
Part update: It's fixed now I got a Toshiba X300 4tb HDD to replace it. Works wonders.
