The "Almost The Dream" build!

CPU- Ryzen 5 3600- this will be upgraded to a 3950x eventually, or at least in hoping it will be!

CPU cooler- Hyper 212 Evo V2. This is a great cooler! Took my temps down by an average of 12c vs the stock Ryzen cooler. When I swapped to the Meshify C, I had an extra 120mm fan, so I just threw it on the other side of the cooler! Pretty "cool" 😂.

GPU- Asus Tuf 1660 Super OC. This is a great 1080p card! I absolutely love it, but we all know about them illusive 3080's 🤷‍♂️.

Memory- G.Skill Trident Z Neo 2x16 32gb CL16. I just upgraded to this! It's awesome. However, it puzzles me on why the G.Skill logo is dead smack in the middle of the light bar 🤔.

PSU- Corsair RMx 850 80+ Gold. I just upgraded to this as well! I basically just upgraded my whole PC to eventually be able to house a better GPU and CPU. I've never had a fully modular PSU before this one, so installing it took a bit of time.

Case- Fractal Design Meshify C. I've literally wanted this case for years, and I finally got one when I upgraded to it. An absolute DREAM to work in vs my previous case! The next day after I got my Meshify C though, Fractal announced the Meshify 2 Compact 😭. Still, I love this case!

Drives- I have a 1tb SSD for OS and applications, with some games on it, because I'm afraid to move them lol. A 2tb 7200rpm mass storage drive for music/pictures/and clipping on people in Rocket League 😊. Finally, a 2tb nvme games drive!

Motherboard- the last piece I recently upgraded in my system! I went with the Asus ROG Strix B550-F wifi. This thing is incredible! It took me like 3 days to figure out how to turn the ROG logo off when I shut my system down. Also, the overclocking software is crazy. I have absolutley no idea how to use it! It's neat though. There's so much this board can do that my old one can't, and it blows my mind 😂.

Peripherals too? Sure, peripherals!

Keyboard- Ducky One 2 Mini SF. I love this thing in all of it's tiny glory 😂. Shout-out to Dimitri from Hardware Canucks for his review on this one! Sold me instantly on it, and don't regret it one bit!

Mouse- the ever so chonky Logitech G502 Hero SE. Literally any other mouse feels like a paper clip to me when I pick them up 😂. That's not a bad thing, it just surprises me on how chonkers this thing is.

Mousepad- Madcatz GLIDE 38. This is my 1st full sized mouse pad, and I love it! I actually got a new desk (the free one) just to use it at it's full capacity 😊.

Headphones- I paid $40 for these Corsair headphones at Target, and they're pretty solid! However, I am about to upgrade to the Sennheiser PC38X. I absolutely cannot wait to get those!!

Monitors- an Asus 1080p 144hz 1ms monitor. I can't remember the model number for it, but I have no complaints about it! My second monitor I bought for $20 on Facebook 😂 Hey, a $20 monitor isn't so bad, it does it's job! It's got some battle scars too in the form of a massive scratch in the middle of it 😂. Not of my doing though!

Miscellaneous- some cable channels from Amazon, Total Mount headphone and remote holder because, you know, OrGAnIzEd 😂. To make it worse I have a single holder for a fly swatter 😂, and a lava lamp that refuses to lava, so I just keep it there just for show. My desk I got for free, and I just modified it a bit to run my headphone cable through the back of it so it's not on my desk in the way. I also took off the left side drawers, which was much harder than it should've been! A Hyper X wrist rest. This thing is super comfy! Oh and a Craig soundbar that was given to me. It's pretty solid, and can get very loud!

Upgrade path from here- eventually I want a triple monitor setup with "floating" monitors. I'm about to get new bookshelf speakers from Amazon, so they'll replace my soundbar. Oh and of course, a 3950x with a 3080 and a 2k 144hz 1ms monitor to go along with it 😊. Soo I think that's about it! It ain't much, but its mine!! Also, I had way too much fun writing this up 😂 Good luck to everyone!
