Teal and White Ryzen 5 2600

I built this pc for my wife and it was an accumulation of parts we picked up over the past couple years, She does not play heavy GPU based games as it really only games when she plays Roblox with our daughter but I am sure the GTX 1060 will do just fine with 1080p on most all games at high settings.

The build was not supposed to be a budget breaking no holds bared build but just a capable machine for all her needs with a little headroom.

We won the case a couple years ago and we decided to respray the inside of this Raidmax case to be white as it originally was black on the inside, We spent about 120 dollars on automotive single stage white paint and sanded and prepped the inside and sprayed out.

We then bought the Motherboard a couple years ago before the second generation Ryzen chips so we learned that we had to flash the bios for current chips to get the Ryzen 5 2600 chip to work.

I picked up the 32GB of memory from ebay used for about 150.00 in their original packaging .

The Galax 1060 white OC GPU we picked up from a friend that never used it other than to benchmark it and see what it could do , so it was basically new.

I added the Samsung EVO 250gb M.2 for the OS and a Western Digital 1TB HDD for storage.

We used the be quiet 500 watt pure power 9 semi modular PSU and I made some cable extensions for it.

I picked up some Aigo RGB fans, A 5 pack and a single fan so 6 fans total that had its own controller for spd and light modes, it will always be set on white or teal so the ability to change the color was the only thing need as the flashing RGB wave was not something the wife wanted it the build

I picked up the Bykski CPU water block that was silver and had RGB strip, The EK reservoir , an 240mm copper radiator and a barrow pump makes up the loop with some 1/2" tubing.

I made the GPU bracket with the Galax HOF theme although the GPU is not a HOF we thought it looked cool non the less.

In all the build works great and the wife is very happy with it. Her old build had a GTX 960 and FX 8250 CPU so this is a nice upgrade from that build. And the old FX8350 build she had was passed on to my 6year old Daughter so I made both women in my life happy!

The temps are good, I benchmarked it on Heaven and gpu temps were at 65C for the GPU and the Ryzen 5 2600 was at a solid 34c. The GPU was showing a 1940 Mhz on the clock and heaven was set at windowed 1920 x 1080 on high setting and was showing average 120FPS. The Galax GPU also ran Heaven flawlessly without any stuttering during the test... I was really impressed by that, Real smooth. In all the system seem to be running real good, I migth watercool the GPU down the road since all the hardware is there just need to do some tweaking on the tubing.

Thanks for looking
Jeff
