Sea of Red
After a getting into PC gaming in 2014 I bought a prebuilt. But then it happened, I started building!
I started my first gaming PC build in March 2017, started off with an Intel i5-7600 and B250m board, a GTX 1060 3GB and a 1080p/60Hz monitor. As a nervous wreck, honestly the first build took me around 7 hours! But now I have built a few for friends and my wife in as little as 1.5 hours from scratch. So it feels great to be so familiar and confident now with all this.
I've added a few upgrades most recently the AM4 platform with a Ryzen 5 2600 ! Along with the monitor upgrade 1440p/144Hz
I also upgraded to a Vega 64 at one point but downgraded for personal reasons. But I do absolutely love this Rog STRIX RX580 I have right now, it's a beast and stays cool and quiet! Definitely an overall upgrade over the 1060 3GB I had.
I feel like I've got the best platform to upgrade if and when budget permits, definitely look forward to Zen2 one day !
