Republic of Gamers mini-itx Build LIAN LI PC-Q17 8700K 1080Ti
I ordered this case loooong time ago as one of my collection, now decide to put into use. the mod i did are: 1, Carbon fiber warped almost the whole thing. 2, Drilled an extra 120mm fan hole on the front panel for better outflow for PSU. 3, Trimmed Corsair 140 fan inside for water cooling tubes with Dremel tools. (a lot of work) 4, Opened a hole on the back for top fans' wires. 5, DIY GPU backplate 6, Custom cables. 7, Grills are from mnpctech
Troubles I met: I can't put the radiator inside as the top bar of the MB pops out. the GPU backplate dead after 2 weeks. maybe caused by my bad LED build quality the reason for DIY this backplate is because the shape is not regular as the PSU tray alraedy blocked half of it, so nowhere can I directly buy from. NZXT X52 do not fit the Z370i as well as 270i, unless you are building with only ONE memory card.
Temp around 25C all time, heavy load around 45C. (I will probably upgrade the AIO water colling with the ROG one just released, no plan yet.) Thank you guys for viewing!
I am willing to help anyone with questions or recommendations towards building.
