That U.2 adapter taking up an expansion slot shouldn't be necessary, but I haven't got the second onboard port working yet. This motherboard doesn't have PLX chips like my other build, so some rearrangement of parts and BIOS settings is required to get that working.

This system is on the bottom.
This photo is not current. I've since swapped out the PSU and AIO.
Racked in a new 19" cabinet.
Initial build with the system running. December 2018.
Back of system, initial build.
NZXT internal USB hub
When my previous system died (Corsair H100 leaked), I pulled all of the components. The two most interesting pieces here are the Quadro P4000 and KONA HDMI (4K capture card).
14TB Western Digital Ultrastar drives.
12TB Western Digital Gold drives.
EVGA X299 Dark motherboard. Original build had the i7-7800X, but this has since been upgraded.
Rackmount workstation
Rackmount workstation. It's for web development on Arch Linux, but I have some interesting things in here.
Intel i9-7940X - Delidded and using Conductonaut / Kryonaut.
KONA HDMI - A 4K capture card with four HDMI inputs.
PNY Quadro P4000 - Bought this specifically to use with the capture card because of GPUDirect for Video support. This combination is capable of decreased processing latency by transferring frames directly between the PCI-e bus. Unfortunately, I'm not even using that feature at the moment, so it's all kind of pointless.
Digigram LX-DANTE - This is a multi-channel network audio card. I use JACK to script audio connections.
36TB in RAID1 - BTRFS device comprised of 1x 3TB, 2x 10TB, 2x 12TB and 2x 14TB Western Digital drives.
