Project Shiro 2.0
Decided to try and cram as much power as I could into my small pc case. So changed out a few parts. I don’t foresee any reason to upgrade these parts for awhile, and hope I don’t “buy now regret later” any further parts. Building this build in particular has been a blast. Below will be the listed specs.
CPU: Previously 3700x was swapped to a 3950x, clocked to 4.2 ghz @ 1.2V CPU Block is made by Optimus PC, quality is really good. I had to request for the kit that lets you reuse the AMD backplate, due to my motherboard flexing quite a bit. Other than that, the block looks awesome.
GPU: Same 2080ti but swapped to a Bitspower waterblock, due to previous block being too large. I don’t really have temperature issues, but it is undervolted to 1960 @ 925mv
Memory: Previously was 16gb 3200 was swapped to 32gb 3600 with tight timings 14-15-15-15-30 3600
Radiators: Still using the GTS 240 Black Ice Nemesis for my side radiator, swapped the bottom rad for the XSPC so that I could fit the Noctua A12x25 on the bottom.
Storage: No longer using a SSD, Have 2 2tb m.2 that I bought from my little brother.
Temperatures:
CPU: Synthetic Load: 78 C Gaming Load: 58-61 C average
GPU: 55 C average
Final thoughts:
Swapping the bottom radiator to fit the 25 thick fans has been a game changer. I don’t really hear the computer now, because it’s running pulling and pushing much more air quieter.
