This is Project Abstract, and it's been quite the build to say the least!
The concept behind this build was very much fueled from helping a new friend start up his case company called Sinister Cases. He specializes in a 5-axis CNC, and so was able to produce a very unique take on what a PC chassis can be. I was very fortunate enough to suggest a few design cues and the build organically grew from there in regards to it's overall aesthetic.
HTML isn't allowed, but my friend very much deserves to have his name in the spotlight a bit. Just google Sinister Cases Minimalist and it'll pop up for ya. This build definitely wouldn't exist if it weren't for him and his new company!
I also was VERY fortunate to receive Watercool's brand new (still unreleased) Heatkiller radiators. They are beautiful in their appearance and awesome in their performance. I can't say much but the hype is most certainly real with them. I suggest you strongly consider them if you're currently in the market for new radiators!
The 10600k in this build was used a few times in the past for past projects, and due to using liquid metal a few times, the IHS started to etch, so I lapped it down all the way to 3000 grit for a mirror finish. Running at 5.1ghz all core, temps haven't passed 65c. It's wild.
I also blocked my EVGA 2060 KO because it's a great little card for ITX builds. Sure there wasn't a full cover block available, but that rarely ever stops me. Slapped a Koolance universal block on it, along with some Enzotech adhesive heatsinks and the cards stays pegged at 2100mhz and never passes 45c.
All in all, this was a super fun build and I look forward to see what other people build with this brand new chassis!
