Like every year the French company ldlc hosts a case mod event during Paris games week, I was invited back in 2017 to participate and had some great time at Paris with fellow modbrothers. We only had like 1 month time to complete our build and had to use specific hardware.
We all got to choose a certain character of the game Overwatch so I choose DJ Lucio as my love for music and DJ'ing are big. I got chosen by Thermaltake to use there View 71TG case so I went for it.
Like always I try to Puch the boundaries and try to do something original just because it can and because I want to learn new techniques.
To explain this MOD in a nutshell I changed all the tempered glass by UV reactive 5mm thick laser cut and engraved acrylic. Custom spray painted the entire chassis blue metallic outside and silver metallic on the inside. I also integrated in the case a native working amplifier and speakers wit sub woofer that was connected to the small Hercules Virtual DJ controller in the top of the case. The top window could go open ens close with hinges for easy acces to the controller... quite crazy huh?
The cpu and gpu where water cooled and routed thru the speakers housing for a crazy clean look. I also used 3D printed detailing to enhance the look and DJ Lucio experience .
Unfortunately I was very unlucky with the lightning on stage as they where 80% UV black lights and the case glowed like he was radioactive LOL ... therefore nobody voted on it and the judges did't liked it. I do got allot respect by the mod brothers back there as the see the amount of work and originality.

The part I remember is all the dinners and beers we had that weekend haha Cheers!!
