The Jonsplus Z20 case is already compact enough not to dominate the room, but it’s not quite SFF, where everything is crammed in and you have to carefully select each component. Here, you can fit a standard (but short) ATX power supply, affordable mATX motherboards, relatively long graphics cards, and a normal dual-radiator liquid cooler (as long as it isn’t too thick).
The case performs well for its size, but the compactness does require a special approach. There’s nowhere to hide cables, so building a clean setup without custom cables will be very difficult. You also need to figure out where to put the liquid cooler hoses. The power supply tends to conflict either with the top-mounted cooler or with a long graphics card below, and sometimes there’s barely half a centimeter separating success from disaster.
This build is relatively simple yet very nice and pleasant, though it called for extra precision in cable work. We made a custom cable set for this build and used the "wireless" (not so wireless, of course) Lian Li fan set. It would have been better with a white motherboard, of course, but this one was sort of predetermined.
