This build is an upgrade for an older, Intel 10th Gen., system that we own. I customized the lengths of most of the fan & RGB cabling to keep the build relatively clean. The build went smoothly, and the initial benchmarks delivered good scores for the i7 14700KF CPU.
The Arctic Freezer III 420 performed admirably, and kept CPU thermals under 60C during all-core testing. After configuring DRAM speed, voltage, primary timings, and command rate, in the BIOS, the DDR5 ran at XMP speed (Corsair DDR5-6000 CL30 1.40V Hynix IC's) without any issues. The GPU also performed well, delivering frame rates very comparable to an RTX 3080 Ti we compared it with.
At this time, we are satisfied with this build, it performs well, it's quiet, and the thermals are excellent. We did flash the BIOS to the latest revision in hopes of warding off any issues with CPU degradation. I also capped PL1/PL2 to 253W in the BIOS.
