QBX will be used again. Maybe when I build a racing rig.
The new (old) Phantek Evolv Shift II
Looks clean except...
small ship on one of the tempered glass corner.
panels removed...ready to put it all together.
I was kind of worried about this. Removed the zip ties later and replaced with velcro strips.
That GPU extension was tough but eventually got it in.
Originally had the 140mm Phantek D-RGB fan on the bottom pulling air and the 2 EK fan as exhaust. Change the setup later.
used the extra Noctua rubber corners.
messy cables...
organized...
It Post!
put all the panels back. Later this glass had to be removed for cooling. I can see why Phantek offered the mesh version.
This side is closed. Except the PSU is inverse in this picture. I wanted to see if looks good but then no air flow.
Since I got the Powercolor Red Dragon 6800xt with Red LED only I made the rest of the LED to Red and White theme.
front with PSU switched back.
so I moved one of the EK fan to the bottom (pulling) and have the Phantek 140mm on the side (exhausting). The other EK fan is above this pulling air into the Motherboard and GPU.
Finished and did a ton of stress test...so far so good.
"Grand Royal Dragon" Migration...
So after I got the Powercolor Red Dragon 6800xt. The QBX box was too tight. Although it cool the system very well the GPU was bending slightly. So I swap it to what I wanted to do originally in a Phantek Evolve Shift.
