Up until the release of Amd's new 5700xt I was still running an i5 2500k and a HD7850 which was still running really well but started to show it's age. I upgraded to a 75hz curved monitor which pretty much crippled my pc when I tried running any recent game so thought the time was right for a full new system. Aiming for a pc that can handle a game like cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p on ultra settings when it releases next year. 1440p will be a future upgrade.
