Original build. This is before taking time to manage cables.
After changing PSU and managing cables better.
Added an AiO cooler.
Most recent revision. Put on 6 corsair LL120 case fans to replace the hodgepodge of fans I had previously. Tidied up the cable runs some more.
Latest revision. Since the last update, I have put in a RTX 2080 super, black and white cable extension, and swapped to an EVGA PSU. The Thermaltake PSU I put in a year ago, the fan started rattling under load so I found a deal and replaced it.
FD4's Second build
This is the second build I've done. Went with a black and white theme with the parts, and some RGB components to add some more customization. It performs quite well at 1440p with 100+ fps on max settings in the games I play.
It's been a year since I've last updated the system. Things added:
1) 16 GB of corsair vengeance RGB Pro RAM (3200 MHz, white edition) 2) RTX 2080 super, EVGA black edition. Had a buyer for my old 2070, so I made the upgrade. Didn't really need it, but it was like 15% more FPS, getting closer to 144 on high/ultra settings. 3) Black and white cable extensions from cable mod, and a Corsair commander pro. 4) Another 16 GB of vengeance RGB pro ram. (Got it from a friend for $45, so figured I'd fill all the RAM slots) 5) Swapped the PSU out, as the fan started to rattle obnoxiously. It functioned fine with the fan facing in the system, but I didn't want to leave it that way.
Very satisfied with the system! Most of those changes were more because I like tinkering than out of necessity.
