This is my first water-cooled build. I delidded the CPU and lapped the IHS at the same time because I had nothing to lose at by doing it. I was going for a clean look for my build. The build is now about 2 years old looking to do an update build next year or so whenever 2nd gen rtx cards roll out. I have been using primochill vue fluid in my build for the past year now without any issues. But I remove the fluid every 3-4 months and clean everything. It is not necessary and i do it more because I want to. I have been lucky enough to not have noted any abnormal build up or blockages from the fluid.
