Not really a gamer, I’m a software developer, hence the lower model monitors and graphics card. I went with the gamer theme…. Well, because its cool lol.

The I9-9900k crushes C++ compile times with visual studio, build times have gone from hours on my old 2600k to minutes. Compiling uses multiple cores, however linking is single threaded, I9-9900k shines with its 5ghz turbo.

I’m currently running the CPU at, 4 cores active 5ghz, 8 cores active 4.8ghz, this is about max with my air-cooled setup.

I’m very happy with the parts I’ve used, no regrets on choices
