Cut the the front brace. The case is still very sturdy.
Cables still need a tidy!
4080super strix with alphacool.
Might sand the tubes to give them a frosted look, hopefully make the coolant look a little more flat.
Six p28 fans. Little laser cut acrylic discs to replace the sad caps.
Got that 2006 vibe from the coolant :D haha
So much reflection! The black border was very easy to scrap off the side panel, but was fused to the front panel. Got a new piece cut and resprayed.
I used the CAD drawing of the case to edit to top panel as the old one was very scratched when I got the case. A local sign makers cut this for me on their co2 laser. Its now all I want. Power button and jack removed. The power button is a proximity sensor stuck under the acrylic just below the USB C port. This was cut from clear acrylic and then painted like the original (it's actually a very thin plastic layer stuck down on the original).
Acrylic mobo tray hides all the cable/mounting holes.
Rear panel to hide the messy IO panel. I also cut away the gpu support tray from the lian li vertical mount.
The acrylic was cut on a cheap diode laser, and it shows haha.
Another o11 mini
What started off as a bit of a build refresh, with the plan to reuse my old kit in a friends o11D mini, quickly turned into a full blown new build. I wanted to build something with a little less bling with a bit of a monochrome look, very minimalist type vibe.
Almost no rgb, but ended up with two Lian li 140mm tl fans which are drawing air in through the 30mm 280mm radator. The l-connect is awful...just putting that out there!
The build has a total of three radiators, a 60mm 360 at the top, a 30mm 360 at the bottom and a 30mm 280 on the side. Six Lian li p28 fans working as a bottom to top airflow and two 140mm TL reverse fans pulling air in. I'm tempted to change the bottom fans to exhaust and have the two 140mm fans as the only intakes.
The motherboard has a EK monoblock and the GPU has a alphacool block installed. The ek block was far more and I just couldn't justify the extra cost. I've not seen the GPU over 55c yet. CPU will run between 80 and 85 when under load and idles at 40. Idle was a little lower without the dust filters.
