A Constant Work in Progress
This build began as a 7700K + GTZ 1080 machine which was my first PC build in 10 years. I slowly kept upgrading and tinkering and eventually tried my hand a watercooling. Eventually I upgraded to a 9900K and 2080Ti and though it was time to go full watercooling.
Soft vs. Hard Tubing
Since this was my first time watercooling, I didn't have the courage to attempt a full hardline build. I went soft tubing with the mindset of learning as much as a I could so that I could rebuild it with hard tubing in the future. That being said, I am so happy with how clean this turned out, I don't think I will rebuild this. Maintenance is much easier with soft tubing and eventual upgrades (AMD Ryzen 4th Gen and RTX 3000?) are much easier with out having to worry about tube measurements and differences in waterblocks.
Noctua iPPC 3000 RPM
I can't stress enough how much I like these fans! They're PWM and are completely silent under 1000RPM. I like that I have the option to crank them up to 3000RPM, but I never really do- except to blow dust out of the radiators.
