Royal Crystal
A scratch-built rig I designed and constructed for G.Skill's booth at Computex 2019.
The entire chassis was designed from the ground up to show off G.Skill's Trident Z Royal RGB memory. To do this I incorporated their crystal pattern into the distro plates and lighting panels. The pattern itself is 3D milled from acrylic, there are no decals or films used here and everything was cut from scratch by me.
The frame is constructed from 3mm, 4mm and 5mm aluminium, all CNC-cut and polished. Most of the watercooling is handled by a pair of distro plates, one of which includes a DDC pump mounted directly to it underneath the PSU shroud. The cabling is fully custom, with each wire cut to length so that the runs are perfectly even.
Lighting is handled via Corsair LED strips that are run inside the lighting panels, each can be controlled individually via iCue.
