Some improvements on overall desk looks (ignore the cable mess)
Bit more progress, atleast it's up and running. Plexi pieces still not finished and cable management needs more work.
Ignore the mess on my table(s) :p Gonna make middle area between the desks look nicer too later on.
Bolt holes drilled
See if cables fit (24pin cable hole throgh plexi not done yet and also gpu side not finished)
test if plexi pieces fit
Industrial looking wall mount (work in progress)
My new wall mount project in works, been building it over a year due to limited free time, hopefully can finish it soon :) Idea of this build is to mix old industrial with modern look. Base plate is planned to look like bolted old rusty metal plates and on front there is plexi pieces covering it up. Planning to engrave plexi and have rgb to lit engraveings and edges up like there is on my mini retro gamer build. There is more pictures under build updates. Any ideas to make it look even better are all welcome
First time for me to make custom cables and sleeving. Decided to use MDPC-X sleevings. They didn't come out completely perfect, but I think they are ok for first time doing it. Did little mistake with gpu cables (plugs are wrong way on card, so color order is messed up on gpu side), still have to fix that.
Recieved my MDPC-X package :)
24pin wires waiting to be sleeved
first cables ready
all cables ready :)

rgb strips and wires cut in lenght
rgb strips done
Paint test and first layer of paint on build
My tought was to make base structure look like old rusty metal. Don't know how well it will work, but let's see
Paint test, whole base should eventually look like that
2 layers of primer and 1 layer of paint
test fitting to find issues
sheet metal pieces to cover up direct light from rgb (maybe gonna spray paint some pc components logos on them later?)
test if plexi pieces fit
Paint finished and build attached to it's final place
Finished painting, not sure yet if it needs more rust look or not. Daylight vs artifical light gives different looks on paint. Also finished the mounting. Is it still wall mount if it's actually not mounted on wall? xD (Initial idea was to mount it flat on wall, but I have moved my pc stuff to other room during the building, so this way seemed better, no holes in wall either.)
Just some bolts
Bit closer look
Ignore the mess on my table(s) :p Gonna make middle area between the desks look nicer too later on.
