The original loop was done with a chinese pump an XSPC glass reservoir and a chinese Block. These things aren't bad; but as you can see the client added WAY too much UV reactive dye that unfortunately stained most of the loop.
Here's a better close up of the reservoir. Fortunately this is glass and not plastic, so cleaning it will just take some salt, water; and patience.
Here's the pump, Again you can see a ton of Dye built up all throughout.
Although it's a less than suitable picture, it does show off the caked on Dye.
Obviously the tubing needs to go.
It took about 6 gallons of water and 2 hours to get this radiator clean. Used a swiftech pump and a backup res for a temporary loop to clean out the rad.
Hard line tubing was the first overhaul decision.
The extension cables I made were intentionally made bigger in areas to drape like cloth would.
As per the client's request an Flow indicator was added.
Reservoir is nice and clean. No heavy build up of that nasty orange gunk.
the fans were replaced for better Static pressure ones.
Pump is all clean!
AND finally, After 12 hours of elbow grease, Anathema breathes quality life! The chinese block was painted black in certain spots to hide the old copper cold plate underneath. This Re-build cost about $80 in parts, and the $150 GPU waterblock.
Anathema - Before and After~!!!!!!!
This is not so much a build as it is a Revamp. As you look through the pictures you will see the Before and After of the Client's PC. It was re-built with a Shadow Priest color theme from World of warcraft as per client request. Read through all of the picture to get more insight into this Before and after Truimph!
