This is my second custom loop combining cooling performance and aesthetics. I went for the original Lian Li PC-V3000 because I like the all metal construction and clean look. It also has plenty of room for radiators and with the front as an outtake, all radiators get air that didn't go through another radiator before. To further improve airflow and aesthetics, I cut custom sheets of black anodized aluminum to cover cutouts and holes. Together with the high number of pass-throughs the workload for this build was extreme. I spent hours measuring out the exact positions for the modifications and went through a lot of tools. Painting the shrouds of the Quantum radiators all black also took a lot of time and preparation
The performance of the loop is very good and the coolant temperate sits at 35 °C controlled by an aquaero 6 LT. In idle and under low loads the build is very close to silent. To push it you really have run demanding games at high settings. But even with a loop as big and optimized as this one I cannot go beyond 250 W on the i9-13900k. The temperature delta between cores and coolant is just too high. To be fair, there is not much performance to be gained.
