In transitioning from a house to an apartment, i decided that space would be more critical, so I decided to retire my old machine that had lived in my Antec 1200 for years and start fresh.
With Ryzen 2 being an amazing bang for the buck and AM4 platforms longer term update future, i decided to make it a Ryzen machine.
In order to get my 8x PCIE lanes back from having two NVME drives, i upgraded to a single 1TB HP 920EX and removed the 256GB Samsung. Then I partitioned it into a 768GB drive for boot/apps, and the other 256 is tied to PrimoCache to offer caching for the 4TB spinning disk to that my games library loads my most played at NVME speeds, and copying tasks between them appear instantaneous.
