The aim of the build is to be not only aesthetically pleasing, but also simultaneously maximising performance and longevity within the budget.
The name of the build comes from the Norse mythology; it was the best ship ever known, capable of always finding a good wind, going anywhere, and crafted with such incredible craftmanship that, when not needed at sea, it could be folded and put in your pocket.
...Well, while that last bit isn't exactly in line with an ATX case, I'll probably make a mini-ITX version of the build someday, so don't count it out just yet!
I decided to center the colour scheme around "black gold", which also happens to be a favourite song of mine.
