Introduction
Sunlite is an ITX small form factor computer based on the Intel Z490 chipset and represents the best of Sunway in a high-performance, portable package. It was designed and built on the MSI MEG Z490i UNIFY motherboard for its high CPU overclocking and undervolting potential. It is powered by a highly-binned 10-core, 20 thread Intel Core i9-10900K LTX Golden Sample with an all core overclock of 5.1GHz and a ring ratio of 43. It is paired with an NVIDIA RTX 3080 Founders Edition and features 16GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR4 memory tuned and overclocked to 4266MHz with a memory latency of 16-17-17-38.
Storage
For the operating system, it uses a single Samsung 970 EVO Plus 250GB NVMe SSD operating at 3.5GB/sec and dual Samsung 860 EVO 4TB SATA SSDs in RAID 0 operating at 1.1GB/sec, creating a fast 8TB storage pool for games.
Airflow
Airflow is handled by a Alpenföhn Black Ridge for both the CPU, VRM and memory while the GPU is actively cooled by its dedicated cooling solution. Cold air is taken in directly from the outside of the case on the CPU side an exhausted out of the top of the case. As for the GPU side, cold air is taken in through the GPU's rear fan exhausted out of the back while the front fan takes in air and is then passed through and exhausted by the power supply from the top of the case. With this multi chamber and passthrough setup for various components, this means that the system can achieve a very efficient cooling profile and remains silent at idle, moderate use and slightly audible during heavy gaming.
Conclusion
Sunlite aims to be a quiet, portable and no-compromise 10-core, 4K 120Hz dedicated gaming and emulation machine for the living room and on the go.
