Ye olde, but silent one
This is my trusty old system, that mainly used for gaming and development.
No:
- No LEDs
- No matching colors
- No plexi window on the side
- No cablemods
Yes:
- It is almost completely silent
- Sick stickerbombing on the inside of the door :D
- 3.5" floppy drive (no, it is not plugged in) :)
- Serial port
- Heavy as f**** :D
The case is an Antec P182, that I have been using for nearly a decade now. It was one of the first "modern" cases, that featured separate chamber for the PSU, low-impedance airflow paths, damping, etc. I originally choose it because at that time it was the most quiet case. It has, and will serve me well, as I don't plan on replacing it any time soon. Although throughout the years a few mods were necessary:
- Ditched the Antec factory fans
- Installed 3x Noctua NF-S12A PWM fans
- Front panel USB 3.0 mod
