Continuing the Ophion trend, this one is a stock build from used parts to keep the costs down. Since there is no custom water loop and the CPU cooler does not play nicely for overclocking, I opted for a 'go-faster' carbon fibre vinyl on the 1080 Ti blower and some RGB. So why the Ophion Evo instead of the standard Ophion model, you ask? The main reason is the support for dual 2.5" drives behind the front plate instead of one and as an added bonus a get some extra clearance at the top for ease of installation and better airflow.
Only the GPU fan is audible at idle but it produces a very soft wind noise so it isn't intrusive at all. When gaming the GPU fan becomes a bit louder but since nothing is overclocked it is very civilised and you can easily game without headphones when sitting next to it.
It's low maintenance, it's affordable, silent and it games like a champ. What more can you ask for?
