I wanted to build something crazy different, so I decided to build a computer on the wall. It measures 3ft x 4ft and weighs about 100lbs. It was very hard to do since i was making up the mounting methods as I went along. Behind every mounted part there is a 3/8in piece of plexiglass with a 45 degree cut on all sides for better color dispersal, also on the back of each plexi there the RGB lights come in from the back there is a triangle cut about halfway into the plexi to again facilitate the colors into the build. that is then mounted to the particle board base and then the components are mounted to that using basic computer hardware, (mostly). My color design was RGB because its simple yet elegant. All the sleeved cables were done one by one by me and now i understand why cablemod charges such a high price for their cables... it is hard and very time consuming. Doing all the wiring on the back required custom lengths of wire to reach all the way across the board to power items, so out came the soldering iron and wire to extend all the wires to reach their specific destination. Again to make the color of RGB theme I had to disassemble the Vardar fans and paint them according to what item they are cooling.
