Setting everything up to build. The alcohol is to remove the preapplied thermal paste from the AIO, I used Arctic Silver 5. Temps have hit 70c playing Anthem with everything on ultra at 1440P. Running idle it sits at about 30c.
Motherboard, RAM, and CPU installed.
This is how I had to install my windows, I forgot I didn't have a disk drive with this build and I bought a windows 10 OEM disk. So I had to take the drive from my old PC and use it to install windows on this rig.
Ambient case lighting in the front of the case.
These are Masterfan pro 120MM fans from Corsair, the site didn't have them to pick for case fans.
Close shot of my Powerlink, I used it to try to keep the ugly cables to a minimum.
This is the final picture of the build with everything put together and cable managed to the best of my ability.
Ultimate rig
I decided to upgrade from what I was using before, so I kind of went all out and bought top of the line stuff. I gave my old PC to my 11 year old daughter who is also a PC gaming enthusiast, so now we can play things together. I had fun building the rig, my biggest problem while building was the space between the AIO and the ram slots. When I installed the fan on to the radiator, I had to press down on the fan some and it sits so snugly that I was afraid that I had unseated one of the sticks. Once I had it booted it gave me a CPU fan warning as well, but that was because I didn't use the CPU fan header this MB has it's own dedicated AIO header for the cooler. Then the fans plug in to 3 pins attached to the pump itself. So I had to disable the warning from the MB regarding the CPU fan and everything from there was great, been gaming and having lots of fun since then.
