The Frankenstein Budget Build is based off of a Alienware Alpha r1 that came with the Intel i7 4785T. The stock heat sink and fans for both the CPU and GPU were changed with the former being changed to a Cooler Master Hyper 212 that I purchased for 8$ that came with two fans of which I 3d printed the bracket for the second fan. The cooler for the GPU is a stock Intel CPU cooler that got pulled off of a broken rig using an oem style 70mm fan also from a broken rig. To make these new to me fans and coolers fit extensive modification of the case was required if you are planning on doing this to your own rig I would recommend taking out the inner metal lining then proceeding with cutting the case's plastic. Powering all three fans is a externally powered usb hub that was "massaged" into the are in front of the Hyper 212 and connecting to the fans are old usb cords cut and stripped then stripped wires pushed into the fan header and electrical taped. Hope you guys enjoy the build here is an email if you want to donate old parts to the build I would thoroughly appreciate it as well as a doc of what i could use to continue with from my knowledge the most modified Alienware alpha ever. thefrankensteinbudgetbuild@gmail.com, https://docs.google.com/document/d/1I3w2Csc8W2Gc3UW9S-5bD6_bmmWCP9vxAQjzGhHoi9M/edit?usp=sharing
