(I apologize about picture quality, as I took them with my iPhone, and quality didn't keep after transfer) This was my first build from three years ago, which I still use as a daily driver today. It is what launched my extreme interest in the hobby, in which I've already spent way too much. It took a lot of help along the way, and my grandfather was the main one to guide me through the process. I also used a site called PCPartpicker.com, which was a great help in the journey. As for performance, well, it works really well for its age. The FX 8300 is just enough to keep up with what I do, games and CAD work, and the GTX 970 can play all the games I have at 1080p just fine, at good framerates. I play games like Warframe and Scrap Mechanic, at high settings, and at FPS I can live with.(although, I can't wait until I can afford 120hz.) 8 gigabytes of memory works well enough, although in some things I can max out all 8 gb, so I could use the upgrade to 16(that will be coming later) My build experience as a first timer was as good as ever, the build powered on first try. The Tesseract case was easy to build in, and it fit everything as advertised. The window is less than optimal, though, since it is acrylic, so it scratched extremely easily. I definitely won't be buying acrylic again. I can't complain too much as the build went without a hitch. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I can't wait to build again! Thanks for reading! ;)
