TENET, a watercooled, inverted, MONSTER PC with a sick inverted video timelapse

Hi PC builders!

This build is my most ambitious (and most expensive) yet. It took me over a year and more than 100 hours to build, benchmark, film and edit a video timelapse.
Since the theme is TENET, I made the video timelapse inverted!
You can see the video here in 4K on my new Youtube channel :

Some of you may know my old channel (glerox). I made the mistake of deleting it when I had to focus on my main job... I should've just let it sleep instead. I take this mistake as an opportunity to start a new channel with a new intro.

Regarding this build, when I saw the case I fell in love, it's so clean! I was lucky enough to get one since it's a very limited edition (200 units). So I started to plan once I received the case.

I always try to get the maximum performance with each new build (with overclocking, shunt mod, etc.). I wanted to build something which would allow me to get in the Time spy extreme 3dmark top 100 (Port Royal wasn't the main benchmark at the time I was planning).

That's why I opted for the Threadripper 3970X (best CPU for time spy extreme and also HEDT would allow me to do SLI X16/X16). That was before NVIDIA killed SLI with Ampere... so I went for only one 3090. I still managed to get in the top 100 in TSE but not in Port Royal (TR single core performance is not fast enough).

24/7 Overclock settings : CPU : PBO on DDR4 : 3600Mhz Cas 16 (default XMP profile) GPU : +160 core/+1200 vram

Another new challenge for me was to do a custom sensor panel with AIDA64, which is one of the worst program... Aneways, the result is not too bad I think.

Sharp eyes may see in the video glimpses of the Gigabyte TRX40 AORUS XTREME. That was initially my MB but I had many problems with it and Gigabyte support is terrible... I'll never buy Gigabyte again. I switched for the Asus ROG Zenith II Extreme Alpha.

What am I doing with this monster? Gaming, editing, light working, chia plotting, ethereum mining... that's about it!

I hope you enjoy the video!

Cheers,

Et
