Built the case out of 1" steel black nipples and T fittings and used interior wood paneling for the backing. Put a sterling engine generator in. getting between 4-5v, and ran a couple wires with a 3v socket to light up the badge.
I added some AMD details to go with the AMD competition.
All of the gears, Frankenstein (throw) switches, top of my steam boiler were all 3d printed.
Used an old milk jug that was sitting in my backyard for 10+ years as my steam boiler.
Used a whole bunch of copper and fittings and ran a main water line to the steam boiler.
Cut switches and power into the desk and ran my switch legs using the copper raceways and main junction box is the boiler.
Added all the little details and put dimming on all the lighting
I apologize for bad video skills.
Steampunk Battle Station
Hello all,
I built this for an AMD steampunk competition. Not doing to well as far as likes. Hard crowd over there. Started August 9, and have been working Saturdays to get it done. Thought I would share it here too. Thanks for looking!
