Hardware is tightly packed. Limits your choices of hardware, but the case is incredibly well designed and has great airflow. You can use a 240mm AIO, but my client preferred air cooling.
Dual T30 fans move a lot of air. All the fan cables were shortened to just the length required, no excess.
The stock 24-pin cable is about 12"/300mm. Only needed to be about 4-5", so I cleared about 8" of excess cable here.
The Noctua fan was a perfect replacement for the Thermalright cooler. Their chromax model is a high-speed fan, so I limited its max speed to 85% in the bios to keep noise down.
The Nvidia FE 4090 is a perfect fit. The only other model that fits is the MSI Ventus, as far as 4080/4090 is concerned.
Detail of the 24-pin cable. Made with 17ga wire covered with MDPC-X sleeving.
Custom EPS cable.
You'll never see all the work that goes into this thing, it's a low key powerhouse.
FormD T1 V2 with a 7800X3D and RTX 4090
This was my third build in the FormD T1, one of the smallest cases that will fit a high-end CPU and a 4090. Air cooling is surprisingly effective, especially after some undervolting and other tweaks. I did custom PSU cables which really clean up the interior and improve airflow. Cosmetically, I covered the PCI riser cable (a weird blue color) with a carbon fiber vinyl wrap to maintain the black aesthetic. I also replaced the crazy looking fan Thermalright uses on this CPU cooler with a Noctua chromax.black model.
