This is my first full build in 6 years. Was running on a Core 2 quad 9400 machine with a GTX 660 (last upgraded in 2013).
Decided to upgrade to a budget mid range machine. Did not really research much on new tech and so just stuck to simple air cooling.
Wanted to buy an MSI motherboard but it was out of stock so got myself an ASUS board.
Turned out there was RGB support and I researched on RGB and just went on to add RGB accessories.
Got some PSU cable extensions from a local modder and fashioned a cheap PSU shroud out of hard black paper.
I guess it's an OK build considering I did not tinker with my PC for 6 years.
