This is a concept render I am actively working on bringing into reality. Metal is getting cut and parts are being test-fitted.
I had an idea to bring to life a new case in a ITX format with the GPU front-mounted and vertically visible through an acrylic front panel. I spent some time in SketchUp working out placement and dimensions, and it comes out to be about 14L. I wanted to maintain the big air cooling on the CPU and show off the Asus Strix shroud on my RTX 2060. I like silent builds, so I didn't want something tiny but poorly cooled and loud, as I hear many of the ~10L ITX builds end up being. I'm currently using a 3.5" HD and 2.5" SSD in my main rig that will be ported over, so I made space for those as well. The one main challenge this build will have aesthetically is the down-firing motherboard IO. I'll need taller legs to allow those to fit, and I may make the side panels such that they hide the cable. I'm planning to build the frame and have modular side panels that attach to the outside of the frame to allow for the design to continue to evolve around the internals.
Let me know if I'm missing anything or if you have any suggestions!
