I built my first computer in 2015. I had a amd phenom 2 1075t and a 550ti before. When building RAWR V1 the case was a Zalman Z11 Plus. I upgraded to a beefy air cooler and then a custom loop with the 240 rad outside the chassis. I built in more lighting with blue led fans and cold cathodes. After my 970 Jetstream died I got a 1080 gamerock. With my brother having RGB i fell in love and bought corsair ll120 and ll140 fans. After Christmas of 2018 I got the corsair spec omega rgb. So that's where I built RAWR V2
I transitioned most of the parts over to the new chassis. It rocking a 4790k delidded on a Gigabyte z97x-sli with a Palit GTX 1080 Gamerock. My main OS is on the 1TB Samsung 970 Evo Plus, with my other drives being an 850 Evo 1TB and a Barracuda 2TB HDD. Sadly I had to roll back to the Intel Stock cooler until Corsair releases custom watercooling stuff I can pair with my chassis. I will change out the HDD soon to make space for a reservoir and pump with the 60mm 240 Rad in front behind the three ll120 fans. I have two ll140 on top and a single ll120 in the back. I also have a commander pro with the temperature probes. My psu is a straight power 11 750w with my old straight power 10 600w in my brothers pc
As the Intel stock cooler ran way too loud, whiney and hot I bought a cheap Ben Nevis with a 120mm fan to keep the CPU under control. I'm now able to run up to 4.7GHz at about 1.285V and 80 degrees C. As soon as Corsair comes out with custom loop options (hopefully Computex) I will rebuilt my loop from RAWR V1.
Cleaned the table a bit
The now changed inside
Added preparation for watercooling
I now swapped out my old hdd to get the drive cage out and remove some part of the PSU shroud. With enough space I installed the Hydro X XR7 360 radiator with it's 55mm thickness it does fit.
