Getting the frame work finished up for the desk
These MMRS reservoirs from Monsson are amazing!
Cutting and placing the ABS so I can start planning the internal layout of everything
These RES tubes might be a bit much, thankfully the way Monsoon made these modular so it shouldn't be too hard to change them up a bit.
getting the exhaust fans/radiator laid out now the first batch of fans have come in. these Lian Li Uni fans look so awesome!
New center tubes for the RES came in and I think this will work out much better. You can see the cutout for the PSU back behind them and I've started playing with bending a little tubing.
Another shot of the shortened RES's. This thing is slowly starting to come together!
Motherboard tray and rear I/O laid out. Got the cutouts for the Mobo cabling also laid out and cut. Almost time for paint and undercoating.
Finally got my hands on a big enough hole saw for the fan holes. Also got the holes for tubing passthroughs on the radiators and holes for the PSU cables to go below the desk.
Fist coat of rubberized undercoating laid down. I can finally start seeing the vision I have in my head.
Another view of the undercoating from the other side. Semi-flat paint will cover up the spray line in the middle.
Got the system monitoring screen ready to go in and more planning on tubing routes.
Starting on more bending and making use of the trimmed pieces to plan my next runs. Plenty of scraps laying around form learning to bend the tubing! LOL
Reservoirs mounted permanently and go the fill tube bent and mounted
got the next tube bent and installed this morning after work. You can see the drain port at the bottom of this picture.
Finished up with the Res side of the desk today. Now to cross over the middle and start on the Motherboard side of it.
I'm so happy with the way this side has turned out. I wish parts would hurry up and get here so I can continue on to the other side of the desk.
Finished crossing over the middle and adding the water temp sensor and couplings in the middle

Got the water block for my 1070ti installed, I wish the graphics card market wasn't so bad. A RTX 3080 would be a better option I think.
Motherboard placed and the CableMod cables are looking amazing!

Getting all of the cables made and tidied up under the desk.

"Vertical" mount installed and more tubing bent. Getting close to filling the loop and leak testing.
SSD's drives installed, Last 2 tubes bent and installed. ready for water and the long, anxious day of staring watching for water leaks. *note: the 240 GB SSD is a place holder until I can get another higher capacity to put in its place.
Got the desk installed on the wall and leveled. You can see my job foreman who cracks the whip on me if I slack off.
Leak testing done, final connections done and now its fired up! Still waiting on my custom cut glass top to come in. A piece of scrap plywood will have to work to hold my monitors, mouse and keyboard until it comes in. Still playing with lighting combinations with the RGB but I could not be happier with the way its turned out.
Finally got my glass in! Still have to make the panels on the bottom to cover my cables and finish setting up my monitoring screen but this thing is pretty much done! I could not be happier with the results!!
It’s been a while since I’ve had time to work on it and updated pics. The underside of my desk. Got to get all of these cables straightened out and covered up.
Santa brought me a sweet Lego stormtrooper helmet to go on my desk!
Made my brackets for the monitor wall mounts.
Finally got my 27” 1440p curved monitors mounted to the wall and looking amazing! Still working on getting my 28” 4K monitor mounted above them. I’ve been slowly machining the mount in my spare time.
Aaaand here’s the 4K mounted about the two 1440p monitors! Soo happy with how it has turned out! Now to start hunted an elusive 3080 or 3090!
I have it tilted up as high as the roofline will allow. The viewing angle is actually pretty good from my chair
Here’s the mounting block I machined out of aluminum. Took me about 4 nights at work to get all of the angles right. Very happy with the results considering it was my first big project on the mill
Finally found me one that wasn’t gouged through the roof! Should be a huge upgrade over the 1070ti!
Installed and planning the loop changes out. Hoping to get it all buttoned up and leak tested in the next day or two!
Man this Strix 3080 is a monster laying next tto the 1070ti. The block looks amazing though and am ready to get it all finished up!
