Project Snow & Ice is my first water-cooled build. I've been building custom gaming PC's for awhile now and saved up enough money to put together what is pretty close to my dream build.
Intel i7 9700k - Overclocked to 5.0ghz on all cores. This system is purely for gaming and this processor fits the bill perfectly.
Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master - Great Z390 board for overclocking. Great power delivery. No problems whatsoever with this board.
Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 32gb - It's actually 3000mhz cl15. Great RAM, I haven't attempted to overclock just yet. One of many components using Corsair's iCue software.
Samsung 970 Evo - 1tb NVME used for Windows, Programs and the games I play the most or have long load times.
Samsung 860 Evo - 500gb SSD I purchased awhile back used as a games drive.
Seagate 2tb HDD - I've had this drive for awhile now. I use it as a backup drive and downloads folder.
Toshiba X300 6 TB - Used to store my pictures, videos and some games. Kinda loud though. It's really the only thing I can hear in my system.
Asus RTX 2080 Super Stix Advanced - Perfect card for my 3440x1440 G-Sync monitor. Overclocked to 2085. The only game I've dipped below 60fps is Red Dead Redemption 2. Wanted to hold out for the Nvidia 3080, but couldn't wait any longer.
Thermaltake View 51 Snow ARGB Edition - I've been wanting this case for my first water cooled build since January. Checks all the boxes for water cooling. I also love dual chamber chassis to hide some cable management.
Corsair HXi 850 - Platinum Power Supply that is monitored through iCue. Solid.
Corsair QL 120 fans (10) - Beautiful fans that come in white. I'm really enjoying putting on the light show with these fans.
Corsair Lighting Node Pro - iCue light strips that add even more lighting!
CableMOD custom sleeved cables - Beautiful white cables.
Corsair Hydro X XC7 CPU block - Painted white for theme.
Corsair Hydro X XG7 GPU block - Painted white for theme.
Corsair Commander Pro (2) - Used almost every input.
Corsair Hydro X coolant, fittings, reservoirs and tubing - My first time watercooling and I have to say the acrylic tubes were somewhat difficult to cut.
EK Quantum Kinetic FLT reservoir and pump combo - I loved the look of this thing. I used an aRGB to iCue adapter purchased on ebay in order to control the RGB through the Corsair software.
I know a system that costs this much should have more powerful hardware. I know I should have dual 2080 ti's and a 3950x or something. But for the games I generally play and the monitor I use, this system crushes everything I throw at it. Building custom PC's is my hobby and my creative outlet
