My gaming rig

Basically my 4770k and 980 ti were getting long in the tooth so I decided to go for a new build, in spite of the market. Was going for no lights, low profile so as to keep my 1 year old from being drawn to the pretty lights and thinking I am better than these “youngsters” with their trends and their crazy computer light shows.
But in the end I got suckered into the vortex of colors and toys and all that and here I am showing it off to the world.

PS: also, because my computer is sitting on the outside of my desk on the right, I modified the case to have the glass panel on the right. I had to invert the motherboard, the gpu, mod the case a tiny bit, cut some brackets, drill some holes, improvise a bit to fit all the fans, and rethink cable management but I am satisfied with my cable work, even if not as clean as of some of the pros on this site.

The samsung ssd is 870 evo retailing for $480, not the 860 evo. The 870 4 tb doesn’t show up in the hardware spec and the 860 was the closest to it.
The PSU is the Seasonic Prime TX 850 titanium
The headset is SteelSeries Siberia 840 bluetooth

One question. Why doesn’t anyone show the back of their build too? I am curious to see how everyone solves their wires problems. Seems a bit dishonest to show only the front, like an unsecure young girl that always tries to present her good side to the world and hide her imperfections. Lift up that skirt and show it all, people!
