The first build I have created, I was originally going to go for a 1050 but decided I wanted to game at 1440p and stepped up to a 6GB GTX 1060 and was glad I did. Went with Ryzen as AMD's price performance ratio within the midrange is almost unbeatable. Also gives me the ability to upgrade to a stronger AMD CPU in the future without having to upgrade my motherboard.
