Since I was a teenager, I named my hand-built daily driver PC "Melchior", network storage "Belthasar", and laptop "Jaspar". So there's your name origin.
In this case, Melchior was started in 2017 - originally using two RX570s. Spring 2018 I got a cheap $100 cooling kit on eBay, a GTX 1080 from work, and added two more 4TB HDDs and the 10TB HDDs, also from work. Basically it was all payment for unpaid stuff over the last year or so. In Jan 2019, the second 1080 (a used $400 deal) and GPU water blocks, along with replacement RGB fans (the previous ones expired).
Later I intend to upgrade to a 3rd Gen Ryzen CPU, a more sustantial case (as with the 6 HDDs I can't close the right-side panel) and will then add the final upgrade - hard tubing. That will require a rad upgrade as well, as these rads were both recycled from AIOs.
I will note that these fans are from upHere and do not change color - they are broken on arrival. The seller also tried to say I used them on my motherboard when I hadn't, having installed the color changing button from the start. Eventually when I can afford it (as I used up my PC upgrade budget), I'll upgrade to a better known company's RGB fans.
