This build was originally supposed to use an ASUS ROG MAXIMUS z690 FORMULA - however, due to the production related galvanic corrosion issues that have become known in the meantime, I then switched to a ROG MAXIMUS z790 APEX. Using the Atlas II case from YuelBeast required careful planning and some flexibility - and was great fun!
The four 360 radiators with 12 fans in a custom loop are of course massive overkill, even for an RTX 4090 and a Core i9-13900K. The focus there was less on performance and more on aesthetics. On the plus side, I can run the fans at just 10% capacity even with demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077 and always get enough cooling power.
I need my rig mainly for work (CRM and file management software, Word, Excel etc.), image editing (Lightroom, Photoshop) and of course for gaming in 4K/HDR. All in all, I'm very happy how it turned out - even though I almost prefer my recent Calypso build.
