How it was before I left home, still need to replace PSU with a modular one and not liking the fans, started making grinding noises. Thinking of getting a 360 rad AIO with ARGB and another set of matching fans
Long overdue system
It was almost 7 years since I had my built my last system and it was pretty aged to be able to play PC games with my friends. I had been a PS4 junky for longest time and wanted back to get back to my gaming roots. Normally I've always done a budget system being a father of 3 but this time after years of hard work and promotions my wife said to go ahead and get what you want.
I went to work researching on what's new by reading reviews and got into the youtuber scene of techs like Hardware Canucks, Linus, Bitwit, Pauls hardware and Gamers nexus. Granted I couldn't get everything at once but every pay check I was able to nab a part or two. Despite having the green light to splurge I still couldn't bring myself to just getting the elitist high end. Some pieces I wanted I had to wait months for release like my case. I started everything in February '18 and didn't have my case until beginning of July. I am still not fully finished and of course every time I upgrade its right before the next batch of vid cards come out. Even now, I took a job opportunity in India for 6 months and had to leave it all behind with the family. Plan to complete my little corner once I get back with more parts and build myself a custom desk. For now I made it all for couch gaming on my Sharp 43" 4K and never got around to the cable management before I left.
