Susan Queen Murphy
Susan is what happens when you have an idea for a rack mounted HTPC/Gaming/Server in your entry way closet, realize it wont fit, then pull a stud out and climb down the rabbit hole. This system is intended to play, record and store old boomer media and memories, play some games, as well as run services for household security and management.
***** Top Panel Window??? *****
I received a response from a local fabrication company saying they have the tooling to cut a window in the panel. Comment below if I should do it with ideas on how to attach a piece of tempered glass.

Build Notes
There are some required items I have not been able to add to the build, they are a M.2 NVMe to PCIe x4 for the OS and a M.2 NVMe to PCIe x1 for the File History drive. Some people may also wonder why I have two surveillance HDDs in my build. The 2TB is for a multi-tuner DVR and the 8TB is for Blue Iris. With the current hot-swap bays in place the maximum GPU length is 248mm. Susan can also be reconfigured with 10Gb networking and SAS/SATA HBA if needed in the future.
CableMod ModMesh Pro Recipe
24 Pin ATX: 4x aluminum white combs, +dummy wire, 300mm
4 Pin EPS: 3x aluminum white combs, 200mm
8 Pin EPS: 3x aluminum white combs, 250mm
8 Pin PCIe: 5x aluminum white combs, 400mm
Quad SATA Power: 200mm, 50mm, 50mm, 200mm
Quad SATA Power: 400mm, 50mm, 50mm, 100mm (5x aluminum white combs added after purchase)
To stop the after market combs on the SATA cable from sliding around I added a 1mm drop of hot glue to the middle wire at the desired location, waited for it to dry, then slid the comb over it.
Overclocking
I used an all core CPU Ratio of 50, CPU Cache Ratio of 46 and offset voltage set to 40 with a Load Line of 2. Stability was tested with Prime95 and Furmark running for an hour. HWiNFO64 reported a Max CPU Package Power of 165W, Max Vcore 1.296, Max CPU Package Temperature of 98c and no Thermal Throttling. All CPU and case fans curve to 100% by 80c. My Cinebench R20 score is 2959, should I try for 5.1GHz on such a small air cooler?
Phase 2: Additional cooling and front left speaker
Cooling fans only turn on when they are directly in front of Susan and are controlled by a 200 ohm potentiometer and a lever switch, connected to a 12VDC power supply. The speaker is installed and working well so I plan to work on the fans next.
